This class is a great fit for anyone who is looking to increase their functional strength or athletic performance. You'll get a full body work out with a mix of high OR low impact cardio exercises, upper body resistance work, leg work and LOTS of core. For every combo of exercises we will include 2-3 exercises for our core strength. With a focus on proper form, excellent alignment, good posture, and modifications when needed, you will get a maximum return for your effort. The class will end with a 10-15 minute, yoga inspired stretch.
Please bring a mat and a set of light weights (2-5lbs).

Core & Upper Body Class (for Men)
This class is about having fun while working hard! It starts with a 15 minute warm up with high intensity intervals (HIIT) followed by balance and strength exercises for arms and shoulders. You’ll do squats, push-ups, planks, side planks and much more. The hour ends with a thorough stretch, and time for mindful relaxation. Mats, gliders, therabands, small balls, stability balls, and music are provided. By focusing on the deep core muscles, you gain the strength and stability needed to support and protect your body during physical activities. Proper training of the core provides better posture and balance, while supporting our joints and spine.
